Chronic constipation from childhood

A client in her fifties came to us due to chronic constipation, which she had suffered from for many years, she said, "for as long as she can remember."
She tried a variety of approaches – dietary changes, maintaining a healthy lifestyle and intermittent fasting – some of which helped temporarily, but did not lead to a deep and lasting change. She noted that stress has an immediate impact on her condition.

In the therapeutic approach, we see a symptom as a clue to the body's internal language.
The intestines, among other things, are involved in the processes of processing, releasing, and separating what is not necessary.

During the emotional work, early memories related to a tense and unpredictable family environment emerged, with experiences of fear and instability in childhood. Although in adulthood she also had positive memories of her father, the body had carried emotional tension over the years that had no room for processing.

Through a gradual process of emotional processing, creating a sense of security, and strengthening internal resources, a change is created in the client's internal experience.

Although this is a chronic symptom that has lasted for decades, the client experienced significant relief early in the process, and the change continued to grow. She reported significant and ongoing improvement in digestive function and a general sense of relief in the body.
