Menstrual cramps (case story)

A patient who suffered from severe pain in the ovarian area, which would regularly appear before her period and limit her functioning, turned to an emotional process.

During the work, an internal pattern of a deep sense of insecurity emerged, as if the body was trying to “protect” itself and prevent going outside during certain periods.

In working with the subconscious, an early childhood experience related to a borderline and frightening event emerged that was not given room for emotional processing at the time. The patient did not share it with anyone at the time, and the experience remained as unprocessed emotional burden.

Through gentle, trust-based emotional work, the experience was given space for processing and release.

After the session, the patient reported significant relief from the pain ("The pain is gone!"), and a change in her body's experience around the menstrual period.
